Specialising in Portraiture, Fashion and Fine Art John de Lombardo has been operating as a Professional Freelance Photographer for over 20 years, mostly in Sydney, Byron Bay in Northern NSW, Melbourne and Canberra.

Over the years John de Lombardo has also taught Photography programs at the Australian Centre For Photography, the Visual Communication Degree at the University of Western Sydney, lectured and taught photography at the National Art School in Canberra and more recently performed studio lighting workshops at Goulburn TAFE.
In 2002 John established the first regional community photography centre, the Creative Photography Centre (CPC) at Byron Bay NSW. The centre operated photography courses, a monthly exhibition program, National and International visiting artist residences.
Internationally John de Lombardo's career is well known through many web projects, and a highly successful monograph publication in Germany, known as the Artflex Project based on flexible bodies. Last year John de Lombardo established 3 Red Stars, a greeting card company that showcases many fine Australian Photo-Artists.

John has also recognised that there is a market for quality portraiture to be made available to the general public at affordable prices. John enjoys working with real people and exploring their character.
