The type of clothing is an important factor with any photo-shoot; we suggest plain simple tones as they won't compete with the subjects in the photo. Generally we suggest to avoid heavy patterns and floral styles but like any rules in photography this can be broken with a good concept in mind. You don't need expensive outfits to look great in photos. Nice plain outfits look wonderful in prints. This image was taken in a local park in Brisbane using simple posing technique.

This image was initially taken for the Sydney Morning Herald's "Shoot The Chef" Competition, unfortunately it didn't make the final cut. Matthew was very brave doing this shot, it was a fun-filled photo-session, or should I say "absolutely, hillarious".

This photo was taken at Somersby Falls, on a cold winters day. The models appear relaxed and comfortable but were being splashed on their back with freezing cold water. They basically held their own poses as the sound of the cascading water was deafening, my instructions barely heard. Do you have a special location where you would like to be photographed? Do you want your images Black & White, or Black & White with a warm or cold blue tone? Just ask when you book, and we will put it on our running sheet.

This image of former World Champion Surfer Pam Buridge was taken at Sydney's Central Station about 10pm on a Sunday Night. I requested the surfboard to be spray painted black for the photo-shoot. The story behind this image is the link between Suburbia and the Sea, hence the subtle use of water. This dominating image of Pam was to illustrate the stumbling block on trying to reach the top. On weekends the "Westies" travel to Bondi Beach carting their boards and Pam Burridge inspired many female surfers to worship the sea.

This image of Nick Hardcastle was taken during an interview. Nick many years ago appeared on Home and Away, guest roles on All Saints, appeared on many commercials including the Telfast TV advert, was also the host of the ABC program Creature Features, and more recently was singer and dancer in the stage production of Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Phew, what a busy man!

Steel Dingo was a fashion outlet based in Darlinghurst, an inner city suburb of Sydney. The theatrical make-up was by Scott Coulton a special talent and friend. Scott waxed the model's eye brows and painted in the replacement dots. Originally photographed on Black & White film. The emulsion was intentionally over-exposed and push processed to create this high key image of Scott’s wonderful make-up and creativity. Do you want Black and White images? Would you like 3 Red Stars to organise a make-up artist? Don't worry our make-up artist won't go over the top like this image, unless you request it.

This image has been desaturated for effect, if you would like your images to have a change of tone, be Black and White, Sepia etc all you need to do is let us know and we can take care of the rest. FAQ Our friend is a make-up artist can we use them? Of course, but get them there early before the shoot to make sure everyone is ready well before the photo-session. Do you supply make-up artists? Not normally, but yes, we can supply a professional make-up artist if you want one, please note an extra fee will apply. What about image enhancement? Any minor blemishes will be Photo-Shopped on selected prints free of charge, we will make sure you look great.
